Sam Kekovich speech prior to the 2008 AFL Grand Final

Here's a funny little speech that was apparently delivered by Sam Kekovich at an event prior to the 2008 AFL Grand Final.

In case you're not familiar with the work of Sam Kekovich, he's a former Australian Rules Football player who has since gone on to make a name for himself in the Australian media, as well as for doing some piss funny ads for lamb.

Apparently he spoke to those that were rich enough to attend the Grand Final event held at "Centre Square", Punt Road, prior to the 2008 AFL Grand Final. According to the original email that accompanied his speech (see below) tickets for the bourgeois event were $1500 a a head.

Collingwood theme song and a butt trumpet

I'm not usually a big fan of the 'sports comedy', but with the anticipation leading up to this weekends AFL grand final building, this little cartoon fell into my inbox at just the right time. Besides that, I did find this one kind of funny.

If you're not an AFL fan, just replace "Collingwood" with any team, from any sport, that you have a strong disliking of, and I'm sure you'll get the point.
